La Semillita Essential Oils is an independently owned business specializing in pure, high-quality essential oils and essential oil-infused products. In addition to its life-changing goods, providing lifestyle tips, and recommendations for the best ways to utilize essential oils, La Semillita focuses on educating families on the benefits of them.

Owner Samantha González shares recipes for the best oil blends as well as how to incorporate essential oils into smoothies and meals. More than anything Samanta believes everyone deserves a life of abundance and wellness and, through La Semillita, aims to inspire clients to live a happier, more natural life with products that are good for the whole family.

La Semillita Essential Oils Project

Samantha won a 45-minute branding consultation and an essential identity package from Marabunta Creative through a giveaway owner Mara Zapiain released on a live interview she did in collaboration with another marketing agency. It was a quick turn-around deal; everything needed to be fully developed and completed within a week. The final project included four elements from our commonly delivered visual identity package. A few other additional designs and collateral materials were suggested right after to help support and introduce the brand-new image of La Semillita Essential Oils.

Creative Brief

After our initial branding consultation, we realized that Samantha’s charm and energy are huge selling points. She’s genuinely interested in creating a better and healthier world for everyone by educating people on how to achieve it. In our work, our main goal was to develop an image that would represent her vibe and values at heart.

 
 
 
 

The colors are fun, vibrant, and energetic, in tune with the healthy, happy, style of the brand, and we kept the design simple with easy-to-read fonts and a little hint of playfulness.

 

Identity

The logo was created from a graphic icon of a drop of essential oil :) Then, by repeating the drop shape and strategically locating them in a circular pattern, we gave it the look of seeds (like the ones you would see if you slice certain fruits through the middle). This image represents the culture and philosophy of La Semillita Essential Oils, where an individual may start alone and then grow into a team. Later, by outlining all these seeds together we created the shape of a flower, representing in turn the meaning and essence of a seed—something you sow, care for, and cultivate so that it flourishes.
