Lifestyle in Cabo Project

Michael Baldwin is an innovative entrepreneur who worked his way up to being Los Cabos’ top high-end real estate sales agent. He has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and selling luxury homes and has lived in Los Cabos for a decade. Michael has closed more than $1.5 billion in transactions, $265 million of which, have been in Los Cabos.

Michael reached out to Mara Zapiain to come up with a strategy for a new channel to market and promote his luxury multi-million-dollar homes in a different way and with a different approach than what is usually seen in the industry.

Marabunta Creative provided the strategy to create—and then built—this dynamic digital guide to Los Cabos, México, and the opportunities one can experience there. Lifestyle in Cabo goes beyond traditional real estate content to offer a more personal and enjoyable how-to for living Los Cabos to its fullest. This site is a resource for visitors and home buyers, as well as a vehicle to further establish Michael’s reputation as the top real estate broker in Los Cabos—regionally and internationally.

Identity

The name Lifestyle in Cabo was a no-brainer for Marabunta Creative; it says it all. Los Cabos is a paradise: a unique destination with some of the most exclusive and luxurious offerings in the world. The Lifestyle in Cabo brand is not about selling luxury homes but rather highlighting the opportunities to live a great life, spend time with loved ones, and identify investments that will last for generations. The site helps people imagine life in Los Cabos and in the incredible homes Michael Baldwin represents.

We focused on a clean and simple logotype and emblem. To achieve this, we blended a script font—representing Los Cabos’ relaxed vibe—with an elegant, more formal serif font. The color palette features the teal and turquoise tones of the Sea of Cortés—specifically found along Palmilla Beach—where Villas Del Mar is located.

The emblem and textures, needless to say, represent the sea.
